Arkansas
It has been a while since I posted on our blog. We have been very busy enjoying time with family and friends while we have been in the North Texas area. I'll post some pictures from our time here later but right now I want to post some pictures from our time in Arkansas from October 2 through October 28. We started our time in Arkansas with a stay at Ouachita State Park. What a beautiful place. The camp sites are some of the largest and nicest we have seen anywhere. Our friends Bill and Debbie Buck joined us for a few days of exploring before we started our first Nomads project.
Lunch in downtown Hot Springs. We always love having these dear friends travel with us.

After Bill and Debbie left we moved to the Mount Eagle Christian Conference Center where we spent the next three weeks power washing cabins and decks and then repainting and staining. We worked with a great group of people and had a great time.

Our RV buddies, Rich and Marion Wait, from Michigan decided to meet us in Arkansas at the end of our Nomads project. They joined our Nomads group for a potluck dinner the last night at Mount Eagle and then the four of us moved to DeGray Lake to enjoy a few days of sight seeing and relaxing. These were taken in downtown Hot Springs.
This time Marion and I decided to have our pictures made with Al Capone.

We spent a day at Diamond Crater State Park and tried our hand at mining for diamonds. No luck but it was a lot of fun trying.
This was taken right before Rich and Marion pulled out headed to their winter home in Mesa, Arizona. Hope to see you all again soon!
That ends our time in Arkansas. Soon we would move on to Beavers Bend State Park in Oklahoma where Bekah, Jeremy and Clara would join us. I'll post pictures of that soon.
