Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon

Dear Friends, if you are not on Facebook you may not be aware that Patrick's brother Kelley, is on hospice care and not expected to live long. We have been busily trying to arrange to get back to Texas as quickly as possible. We are currently in Tropic, Utah near Bryce Canyon National Park. We will be leaving here day after tomorrow and heading to Salt Lake City where we will spend one night and then put our camper in storage while we fly home. We should be back in the Frisco area Tuesday afternoon. Our dear friends, Bill and Debbie Buck, are in Italy through the end of May and have graciously offered us their house as our home base. I am going to post our pictures from Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon today. I may try to get our Zion National Park pictures posted tonight or tomorrow and then that will be all until after we return to Salt Lake City on June 7. Please be praying for my sister-in-law, Judy, and their two children, Lorna and Michael. Kelley has had one devastating diagnosis after another for the last ten years. It has not been an easy journey for any of them.

Okay, I am going to start with pictures of the inflatable Kayak that Lori and Kate gave us for Christmas. This was the first time we had a chance to try it out and we were both amazed at how easy it was to inflate and deflate, and at how stable it felt in the water. We had a lovely morning paddling around beautiful Lake Powell.

Believe it or not, this is the bag that it came in and even more incredible, it all fit back into this bag at the end!

Fully assembled and inflated and ready for the test run!

These are just a few pictures from our morning outing. My connection is a little slow this afternoon and I want to post some of the Antelope Canyon shots. It was truly the most beautifully photogenic place I have ever seen. The colors were amazing and sometimes did not even look real.

Okay, I have about 70 more pictures but my computer is acting crazy so I will have to finish them later.
