Orlando trip

The adventure began in earnest today! We spent last night in Austin at our daughter's house and then drove to Explore USA in Boerne this morning for our Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) They told us to allow at least two hours for that. We knew it would take longer because this is the first camper we have ever owned and we had lots of questons. Sure enough thanks to slow traffic and a late start we were still not hooked up and on the road at noon so we all took a lunch break and then met to hitch the trailer up, test the brakes, and hit the road. A glitch with the trailer brake (which, after some intense prayer on my part, turned out to be minor) held us up another hour and a half. We finally pulled out of the dealership at about 2:45 and arrived at beautiful Pace Bend Park on Lake Travis at about 4:45. Set up went off without a hitch. Everything works!! Moved everything from the truck to the the trailer, unpacked a lot and then had to make a grocery run. We are now exhausted but happy. The trailer is cool, the water in the shower is hot, and the recliners are extremely comfortable! What more could you ask for!

Okay, I have added some pictures of the inside of our new digs and one of the view from our dining table at breakfast. The lake is just beyond the trees, even though you can't really see it in this picture, we could see it from our camper. We got a good night's sleep last night.
